Produce Alliance Announces Two Strategic Hires

Produce Alliance, a produce management, procurement and consulting company, recently announced two new additions to its culinary and food-safety teams. Kimberly Jamer has joined Produce Alliance as the director of food safety and quality assurance and Stephanie Goldfarb has been appointed corporate chef.

Jamer's role will be to provide 24/7 farm to fork oversight and protection for the safest and highest quality produce. She received her master's degree in environmental management from the University of Maryland and her associate's degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales. She was the manager of food safety quality assurance for Buca di Beppo/Planet Hollywood for two years and has spent the past seven years as the director of food safety and quality assurance for Famous Dave’s.

Goldfarb is a Chicago-based chef and national food television personality specializing in seasonal, globally inspired cuisine. Her talents have been showcased on national television as the recent winner of NBC’s "Food Fighters" and The Food Network's America’s Best Cook competition.  She has also served as a celebrity chef on The Food Network's "Kitchen Inferno."

Goldfarb will soon be featured on Produce Alliance’s website with an Ask the Chef section. She will be working with Produce Alliance customers on new menu innovations and testing application of products as well as creating new recipes for the quarterly culinary newsletter, The Cutting Board.
